Arcade tools designed for LLMs to interact with Salesforce
Arcade's Salesforce toolkit lets LLMs interact with a Salesforce org to manage the full CRM lifecycle — leads, contacts, accounts, opportunities, tasks, and activity logging.
Capabilities
- Identity & context: Retrieve the authenticated user's profile and org info to establish session context before other operations.
- Lead management: Create, search, update, and convert leads into Contacts, Accounts, and Opportunities using the canonical Salesforce conversion flow.
- Contact & account access: Create contacts; search and retrieve accounts or contacts with enriched related data (up to 10 each of contacts, leads, notes, calls, opportunities, tasks, emails, events).
- Opportunity pipeline: Create, search, retrieve, and update opportunities with picklist validation; fetch enriched deal views including contact roles, line items, and notes.
- Task & activity tracking: Create, list, update, and complete tasks; log completed calls as activities; filter tasks by due date or overdue status.
OAuth
This toolkit uses OAuth 2.0 via the Salesforce auth provider. See the Arcade Salesforce provider docs for setup instructions.
Secrets
-
SALESFORCE_ORG_SUBDOMAIN— The subdomain of your Salesforce org's base URL. For a standard org accessed athttps://mycompany.my.salesforce.com, the subdomain ismycompany. For sandbox orgs the pattern is typicallymycompany--sandboxname. Find this in your browser's address bar when logged into Salesforce, or under Setup → My Domain in Salesforce. See Salesforce My Domain docs for details. -
SALESFORCE_MAX_CONCURRENT_REQUESTS— An integer cap on the number of concurrent API requests the toolkit will issue against your Salesforce org. This is not a Salesforce-issued credential; you set it yourself based on your org's API request limits and governor limits. Check your org's API limits under Setup → Company Information → API Requests, Last 24 Hours or consult Salesforce API request limits documentation to choose an appropriate value.
Store secrets via the Arcade secrets config docs or directly at https://api.arcade.dev/dashboard/auth/secrets.

Convert a lead into a Contact (and optionally Account + Opportunity).
This is the canonical lead-to-deal transition in Salesforce. The lead record

Create a contact in Salesforce. | 2 | ||

Use this when someone is a potential customer but isn't yet associated with
